Super-exciting NEWS ::

Tony has been selected to work as a Sports Massage Therapist at the GC2018 Commonwealth Games next year!

My name is Tony, I possess a Bachelor of Health Science (Musculoskeletal Therapy) obtained from study at the Endeavour College of Natural Health (formerly the Australian College of Natural Medicine), and I am fully qualified in multiple forms of Massage Therapy including Swedish Relaxation, Deep Tissue, Structural Alignment & Balancing, Sports & Injury Management, Cupping, Manual Lymphatic Drain, Reflexology, and Aromatherapy.

I have been providing Remedial Massage Therapy for over fifteen years and have experience working alongside Physiotherapists, Chiropractors, Personal Trainers, and of course other Massage Therapists and Health Care Professionals.  HANDS from HEAVEN is my business, and I like to keep things professional but relaxed.

I was drawn to Remedial Massage by a desire to help others perform at their optimum and be the best they can be.  Whether you are an athlete, a dancer, a week-end warrior in the garden or on the field, and particularly if you are someone who looks after others in any capacity (either young children or ageing parents), Remedial Massage is what you need and I have the knowledge and experience to provide the best treatment for you.

Tony is available for appointment 6 days every week :

Monday's, Wednesday's & Friday's - 2pm to 9pm  ...  Tuesday's & Thursday's - 7am to 2pm  ...  and Saturday's - 8am to 4pm.

Kat

Diploma of Remedial Massage  &  Certificate IV in Massage Therapy
Contracted Remedial Massage Therapist

Hi! My name is Kat. I first started studying Massage in 2009, after suffering a workplace spinal injury in 2008.

I spent 2010-2012 waiting for, undergoing and recovering from Anterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion surgery, and then in 2013 I returned to study at The Australasian College of Natural Therapy (ACNT) to complete my Diploma of Remedial Massage. I hope to continue my studies in 2015 and beyond with courses in Myotherapy, Kinesiology, Cupping and the like.

I am fully qualified to offer you: Swedish (relaxation), Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage and some basic Reflexology and Cupping.

I believe in working with the body firmly, but gently, to encourage it to return to its healthiest state. Massage 'teaches'  your muscles and, by extension your brain, that it is okay to relax and lengthen out, and that chronic pain and tension/tightness is not the normal way to be. I also have a keen interest in helping people post-surgery. Having had personal experience with a spinal injury, I have an intimate knowledge and understanding on how long-term chronic pain and dysfunction can interfere with your life.

Kat is available for appointment 4 days every week :

Monday's, Wednesday's & Friday's - 7am to 2pm  ...  and Sunday's -8am to 4pm.

Andy

Diploma of Remedial Massage  &  Certifcate IV in Massage Therapy
Contracted Remedial Massage Therapist

Having had a lifelong interest in massage and the benefits it can provide, I completed my Diploma of Remedial Massage in 2014. During the time I was studying I had the good fortune to work with some brilliant therapists who helped me refine my technique and improve the focus of my treatments. I believe it was the input of those therapists that enabled me to win the Australian College of Natural Therapies Executive Deans award for massage.

My clients have included sports people from Netball, Tae Kwon Do and Tennis as well as the general public.

I use Deep Tissue Massage, Trigger Point, Lymphatic Drainage, Sports and Myofascial techniques, underpinned with the techniques of Swedish massage.

I have a strong interest in postural correction and structural balancing to provide a solid foundation for both sporting activities and activities of daily living. I look forward to working with you to ease your aches or free your movement.

Andy is available for appointment 4 days every week :

Tuesday's & Friday's - 2pm to 9pm  ...  Thursday's - 7am to 2pm ... and Sunday's -8am to 4pm.

Ange

Diploma of Remedial Massage.
Contracted Remedial Massage Therapist

Hi my name is Angela, and I'm excited to be part of the Hands from Heaven Therapy Team. I graduated from Q Academy in 2016 with a Diploma of Remedial Massage. I have always had an interest in massage as I found it beneficial with injury prevention and performance enhancement as a Golf Professional competing on the Australian Ladies Tour.

Through my studies I found it interesting how a variety of massage techniques can assist the body both physically and mentally. I really enjoyed learning how Remedial Massage can improve your range of movement, strength and reduce pain and discomfort.

My goal for the near future is to learn the techniques of Dry Needling and Cupping as I would love to build on the current techniques that I offer of Trigger Pointing, Myofascial Release technique, Swedish (Relaxation), Deep Tissue and Sports.

Ange is available for appointment 4 days every week :

Monday's, Tuesday's, Wednesday's & Thursday's - 2pm to 9pm.
